QUICK UPDATE (4 HOURS after leaving our girl in operating room)
As expected Lucy girl put on her stoic/I'm scared face when we arrived this morning at the hospital. But we were able to coax out a few smiles and giggles during the 2 hour pre-op wait.
The anesthesia team was so kind and allowed Daddy to carry her into the O.R. and stay with her until she fell asleep.

The waiting is L-O-N-G; we've been waiting just about 4 hours as I type this and we just got a report that they're getting ready to "close her up" and that she "did great!". Anxiously awaiting to talk with the surgeon. Will post again as soon as I'm able. THANK YOU FRIENDS for your love and prayers -- we can't tell you how much that lifted us this morning!

Keeping all of you - especially Miss Lucy In my heart & prayers. Hoping for minimal pain and a speedy recovery. I hope Lucy enjoys the 4 cards I mailed (one for each day). I chose cards that had a picture on the front that I thought might make her smile.
